Just quickly popping in to put up a layout I have created for this months SHOW US YOUR STUFF challenge which is a fabulous sketch.. and I have used the sketch like this...

(Rotating it once clock wise..) and of course using something hand made..

And it is for a little girl!! Using Kaisercraft papers and dies..

Well I cannot believe that March is just around the corner... but it is!!!

ANNAS CRAFT CUPBOARD Feb Sketch, FEELING SKETCHY #163

Hello there, how has your day been!??  Great I hope!!

I am just popping in to share my layout and card that I have created from last week. The layout is for the fabulous sketch for ANNAS CRAFT CUPBOARD which looks like..
I loved the idea of a bit of mixed media which is what I did on the back ground and then went and covered most of it up!!!  anyway!!!

I have had this flair from D-Lish for such a long time.. so happy to use it, just perfect for my layout!!

hehe!  This is typical of the young ones these days...so I may as well scrap it!!! lots of old flowers on this layout..  and old kaisercraft papers too..

And I created a card for the FEELING SKETCHY #163 which is an interesting sketch which looks like..

I did start off following the sketch  using a small envelope on the side but I ended up covering it up with my sentiment and wreath die cut, anyway it looks like...

 The butterfly stickers and the flower stickers are all quite old so I am glad to use them... Another card to use someday!!

SCRAPBOOKIT - February Challenge..

Hello there,
So very nice to have you drop by! I am pleased to say we are having a break from the extreme heat we were having last week..  We got up to 46c on Sunday.. which is about 115f.. so very hot..  Today is quite pleasant, very summery but with a breeze...

I have been scrapping, mainly layouts for March,  but have created a layout for SCRAPBOOKIT which this month is using a fabulous sketch from Laura Whitaker who creates lovely easy to follow sketches.. and it looks like..
with the added criteria to use some gold and some washi tape as well as some lyrics on your page.. 
My daughter got a kitten from the RSPCA for her birthday last year, so I have used two photos of them together.

My washi runs up the side of my layout and there is a gold doiley and gold spotted papers.. I remembered that Tom Jones sang a song with the words.. pussy cat pussy cat I love you...

My Daughter called her cat Orva  which in French means 'worth gold' and in Anglo Saxon means 'brave friend' so a pretty unusual but beautiful name..

I would like to share with you my DT layout for this months 123 CHALLENGE BLOG challenge which is a lovely one...  and it is..
To use the color RED, the word FRIENDS and use FLOWERS on your layout..

Well the hot weather is continuing up here, at least we cant say we haven't had any summer.. we are having lots of summer!!!!

ARCHI-SCRAPS & KRAFT+ February..

A pinch and a punch for the first of another month......  crazzzyyyy!

Anyhoo lots of new challenges going up on the first day of a new month! And I would like to share two that I am on the design teams of..

The challenge for ARCHI-SCRAPS is such an easy peasy one and it is to.....
use lots of colors....  you can create cards, layouts, canvas, whatever you desire...   I choose to do some cards, can never have too many cards for those occasions that come up..

 I have used really old papers and the chipboard pieces are all Scrapmatts..

And the challenge for KRAFT+ is another fantastic one...  and it is..

to be inspired by the sketch and use the colors and put it on a base of Kraft... The designers this month have excelled themselves and you need to check them out HERE!!!!!!!!  
And it does not need to be a beachy theme either.... however having said that, I was inspired to do a beachy layout..  from our holiday last year with our dogs at the beach...
