SCRAP THE GIRLS & D-LISH SCRAPS September..

Hows has your day been? I hope this finds you well!!

I am just popping up the layouts I created for two challenges. I cant believe how fast this month is going by...  Cant believe we are almost into the tenth month.....

The challenge for SCRAP THE GIRLS is a fabulous sketch which looks like... 
I was inspired by the doiley like circles and my layout looks like..

 I have used an older Prima range of papers and flowers..

I also created a layout for D-LISH SCRAPS this month and it is to use the colors in this mood board and the sketch is optional but I did follow the sketch.. I also use the JAP kit too..

SHOW US YOUR STUFF - SEPTEMBER..

Hello there,
I hope your day is going great!

I am just popping in to post my layout for this months challenge for SHOW US YOUR STUFF which is to use this sketch..
and use some mixed media...  Well I could not resist that challenge! I took a couple of photos of my layout as I was creating it as sometimes I end up covering up most of the back ground... just so you can see the mixed media I have used..

 I got my page and stuck all sorts of die cuts that I had cut out but hadn't used.. then covered the lot with gesso, did some misting and added some stamping.and some netting... then flicked some gesso around the page..

 And I set this aside to dry overnight.

Then I layered my photo and placed it on the page..

SCRAP THE BOYS SEPTEMBER.. and Coolum..

Hello there!
 I havent fallen off the earth if you have missed me, I had a little holiday at the beach last week.. We had a lovely time at Coolum on the Sunshine Coast. My parents came with us and for the first time ever we took our dogs. It was wonderful to take our pooches for a walk along the beach each afternoon, good for them, and good for me too to get some exercise.. the beach is a dog friendly one and it is doggie heaven! and so good to watch the dogs and owners play on the beach together..

This is when we first arrived after travelling for more then 3 hours with one stop on the way..

And that is my DD with our dogs, we were not sure about letting them off the leash, they were quite happy to be on the lead with us..  They loved the water but had to get used to not drinking it!!!

So that was us last week, home now and trying to catch up with the washing and all that doesn't get done while we were away!!

I did create a layout for the SCRAP THE BOYS CHALLENGE SEPTEMBER before we went on holidays so I had better put it in a blog post before this week disappears quickly too!
 

It is to create a layout with you and a male in it.. I chose to use a photo of my son and I.  I came across this quote too, not sure now where I got it from but I thought it was a good one to use on my layout...

I love that quote.. and no matter how old my son gets, he will always be my little boy (in my heart cos he is taller than me now!!!)

KRAFT + - SEPTEMBER ..

Hello there,  thank you for visiting me today!

I have a layout to put up for this months KRAFT + MELON COLORS CHALLENGE which is a fabulously fresh moodboard perfect to welcome Spring for us in this part of the world!!
How scrumptious are those pretty colors!!?

 love those soft pastel colors..  I have used a lot of old embellishments that I have had for years!!

Even the photo made me think of fresh as my DD had just had her hair cut shorter so she had a fresh hair style too!!
I dont know how they keep thinking up such fabulous challenges each month, this is another one I loved creating.. thanks KRAFT+ !!!

ARCHISCRAPS & SKETCHY BOARDS CHALLENGE September..

A pinch and a punch for a new month...  somehow we are in September..  This year is flyinggggg...

The challenge for ARCHISCRAPS SEPTEMBER is another creative one... and it is..
to use WINDMILLS.. They really are quite easy to make and once you know how to make them you can use them on any project!!
  I hope you can follow that diagram!

and I made two cards this month..

and yes I used two leftover tassels that I made for a challenge last month!! It is fun to make stuff for your creations!
