D-LISH SCRAPS 7TH Birthday Cybercrop Challenges..

Hello there,
How are you on this last sunday in August...?? I hope you are doing very well!

Last week I got myself creating for the D-LISH 7th Birthday Cybercrop challenges which are on facebook. It is a closed group of D-Lish fans, so if you are not a member I am sure you could be a part of the group if you asked.

Anyway there were 7 challenges put up and I got 6 of them done and I would like to share them with you..

The first challenge was a blind scrap where we got a list of things to collect and some instructions..
I didnt get my layout done on the Saturday and thankfully it was left open for the week and I got my layout done on the monday..  I wont list all the instructions as it will take too long, but they were good to follow and this was my first time at trying a blind scrap..  If you dont know what a blind scrap is, basically you get a list of materials you will need, and then a list of instructions that you follow to complete your layout step by step..  You dont really know what the end result will be, but the layout comes together as you do each step.. and my take on this challenge..

 I have used mostly D-Lish embellishments - flowers, sequin bows, flairs and buttons.

The second challenge that I completed was..

This one had me stumped for a while however I have used a photo of my daughter and her friends and printed off an emoticon from the internet.. and it is..

The next layout I did was for this challenge..

I have used some photos of my nephews daughter who had a birthday party this year and her mum made such a beautiful cake I wanted to scrap the photos..

 The flowers and butterfly are from D-Lish Scraps, the other birthday themed embellies are from my stash..

I was inspired by the white writing on the black and I thought of my dog in her winter coat which said "bad to the bone" and this is what I created...

 Lots of stamping and dies and doggie themed embellies from my stash..

And the next one...
I used the first row going down.. music notes, song lyrics, washi tape, bow, sequins, enamel dots.. and my layout..

That's what makes you beautiful..

and the last one is a color challenge...

So that is what I got up to last week, not much house work, but hey no body noticed!! hehe!!

ANNAS CRAFT CUPBOARD SKETCH, OFF THE RAILS AUGUST & STUCK?! August 15th Sketch..

A big Hello to you!  Thanks for dropping on by!

I have two layouts to put up today  because the days are flying by and it will be the end of the month before we can say "Where the heck did August go!!!???"

Anna's craft cupboard has a fantastic sketch this month and I just had to have a go at it..  The sketch looks like..
and the end result of my layout is a bit different for me but I do like how it turned out..

And the challenge over at OFF THE RAILS SCRAPBOOKING grabbed my attention with this fabulous mood board..
 To use black and anything goes.. I was inspired by the bottom right picture and I have used greens white and black..  And I have used the wonderful sketch from
STUCK?! August 15th reveal which looks like..

I am quite happy with how this turned out.. and these are my gorgeous older daughters!!

MORE THAN WORDS CHALLENGE August - FRIENDS AND CIRCLES..

Good evening or day to you!
Another week down and a weekend to come..  I hope it has been a good one for you!

I would like to share a layout I have created for the MORE THAN WORDS AUGUST CHALLENGE which is
to use the word FRIENDS on your layout and use circles..
My Daughter and her cousin have been great friends since birth really as we used to visit regularly and then they were in the same grade at high school.. So I borrowed ... ahem... took these photos off facebook and used them for my layout!!

D-LISH SCRAPS : August Inspiration Board..

How are things in your part of the world? I hope you are doing ok..

I would like to share with you a layout I have created for the D-LISH SCRAPS AUGUST INSPIRATION BOARD which looks like..
To use the colors and the sketch is optional.. but I did use the sketch for inspiration for my layout..  I have used photos of my nephews son who is just the sweetest little boy!!

KRAFT + - TASSEL TIME!!

on this Wednesday, another week half way through.. I hope you are having a great week!

The layout I would like to share with you is created for this months challenge over at KRAFT +  and it is...
to use Kraft as the base and some tassels..  humm I didnt have any tassels, so I watched a few you tube videos and thought I would have a crack at making my own.. Well the first one was very malnourished, so the next few I made a lot fatter and I have used two of those on my layout as well as then remembering I had a tassel die which I have used as well... I made my tassels out of crochet cotton.

Yes my second child turned 29 a couple of weeks ago... we are all getting older!!!  I have used old papers, some stencilling, some chipboard painted with black gesso and flowers.. Thanks again to KRAFT + for another great challenge, now that I know how to made tassels I just might use them on my work again some time!!

ARCHISCRAPS & SKETCHY BOARDS AUGUST CHALLENGES...

Here we are in August..  somehow this year is going faster than I can keep up with! hehe!

With the new month come new challenges...

The first one I would like to share is for ARCHISCRAPS and it is to be inspired by this photo
and to use butterflies.. Now you can create a card, layout, OTP for this challenge..

I was inspired to use just one row of the sketch..  I have used old Basic Grey papers for this and the chipboard pieces are various brands..
