We had 5 lovely mills of rain last night, and today has a bit of a chill in the air..  humm is winter just around the corner???
I have 2 layouts I would love to share with you for 2 wonderful challenges..

This months SCRAP THE BOYS challenge is a wonderful sketch.... and I do love a good sketch!! (basically I just love to have the design done for me!!! ) and it looks like..
How cool is that!!!?

And my layout using some photos of my nephews son out and about at a park.. I just love the photos of Zebby crawling away having an explore!

KRAFT + May - PARTY!!

A very good day to you! I hope your day is going wonderfully well!

I have finally created a layout for this months challenge for KRAFT + after just scratching my head for weeks.. what a doozie of a challenge this month!!! It is..
Use this picture for inspiration and our creativity!! I searched and searched for something..... anything.... but..  i got nothing...... until my son had a recent birthday and I put up an older photo of him in one of his favorite shirts.... and then.....  BINGO!! His shirt has a lot going on and it just reminded me of this picture.. there sure is a lot going on...and it has the appearance of being LOUD!! as well as a  mish mash of color and textures...  and so i sat and created...

That is one fabulously colorful shirt!! hehe! So that is what I have created using the picture and my creativity!! I kinda let lose a bit!!!  hehe!! Thanks for a great challenge KRAFT +, it sure was a challenge!!!!

KAISERCRAFT CARD SKETCH & FEELING SKETCHY #145

I have created a card for the KAISERCRAFT MAY CARD CHALLENGE which is to use this moodboard for inspiration..
I was inspired by the top right image of the white on white and pearls and I also used some little roses too..  And my card...

I was delighted to see that ANNAS CRAFT CUPBOARD was back having a monthly sketch challenge..  and it is a beauty..
I loved this sketch and had a lovely time scrapping this week..  and my layout..

I dont use much orange but I am trying to use what I have in my stash this year..

And again I have taken a photo off my DD's facebook to scrap!!!  A mix of different brands of flowers, some I have had for many years!!

ARCHISCRAPS and MORE THAN WORDS MAY..

Hello there,
I hope this finds you well..  I have been busy this last week with my Dad having been in hospital, thankfully he is home again now.. but going out to the hospital several days as well as the usual things sure does make the week fly by!

I have to put up my example for the May challenge for ARCHISCRAPS which is to use this photo for inspiration as well as layering and something reflective..

and my card.. I have layers and I have sequins for something reflective.. The kaisercraft die I have used reminded me of the roof structure of the building, and I have used Scrapmatts chipboard sentiment and chain circle..

And today I had a lovely time sitting and scrapping for this months challenge for MORE THAN WORDS May..
which is..
to use the word MOMENT and clocks on your layout..
I decided to use a photo I found of my Son in his year 12 school photo.. I cant believe this was taken in 2002..  Where do the years go??

 The chipboard was covered with black gesso then some ink from a stamp pad added for an aged look.

I had a lot of fun creating the back ground with ripped papers, die cuts, stamping and clock cut outs..  I needed some scrap time so thank you to MORE THAN WORDS for a great challenge this month..

SKETCHY BOARDS & The 123 CHALLENGE BLOG MAY..

Ok I am just having a bit of trouble acknowledging that it is in fact MAY!! Everywhere I look it says the 1st of May today...  My computer, my phone.. just my brain is taking time to catch up!!! So while I am adjusting, I thought I had better put up a couple of the challenges I design for...... yes for MAY!!!

Well this month I was inspired by the colors in the door in the board and I have created a card, you can create anything for this challenge.. just tell us how you were inspired..

And the challenge for the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG is one we all had fun creating for.. It may lend itself to male layouts, but I still did a layout with my daughter in it.. and it is..
To use the color grey, the word GREAT and the technique of grunge!!

I had some fun creating the back ground for this, the chipboard pieces are Scrapmatts, the dies and stamps are Kaisercraft and the flowers are Prima. (A bit of warp happening with my title due to the mixed media!!!)
