KAISERCRAFT Feb & STUCK?! Feb 15 sketch..

Hello there, so nice you have come by!
I have two layouts to pop up today.. I cant believe how quickly the days are going, and this month as well..

The challenge for KAISERCRAFT for this month is a fabulous beachy mood board which looks like..
and I also took the theme of travel from the suitcases and I have scrapped a photo of my Dd on holidays in Mexico and she got to ride a horse along a beach..  So I got the photo of her facebook, as you do!! hehe and used it for my layout for this challenge..

 I used two Kaisercraft stencils for the texture on my back ground..

The flying birds are clipart from the internet.. I love how the different paper ranges go so well with each other.  This is pretty much all Kaiser, even the mists..The netting is from a washing bag!

And the sketch for STUCK?! February 15 is a really lovely one and I have used some new papers, yes I bought some new papers! been a while!! from Ultimate Crafts.. at the craft show I went to a couple of weeks ago.

SCRAP THE BOYS, SCRAP THE GIRLS Feb..

A warm hello to you!  thanks for coming by..  We seem to be in the middle of a long heat wave here, I hope the weather is more pleasant wherever you are!

I have two layouts to put up today for two fabulous challenges.

The challenge for SCRAP THE BOYS FEBRUARY is a wonderful sketch which looks like..

and I have scrapped a photo of my nephews son for my layout using older papers..

Sisters.

My oldest sister got some photos done for her 60th birthday last year and this is one of them.. I have had that black lace paper for ages too.. and the papers are Basic Grey Little Black Dress, so it is good to use them!

MORE THAN WORDS - WONDERFUL AND SPARKLE Feb

A warm Hello to you on this lovely saturday arvo. I hope your weekend is going well!

I have created a layout for the February challenge for MORE THAN WORDS and what a great challenge it is too! And it is..
to use the word 'wonderful' on your layout and also some SPARKLE!  Well when I think of sparkle I think of bling!And that is what I have added to my layout..

 I have cut up a Prima rhinestone flourish and added glitter glue to my flowers!

I got that cute gold metal bow from the 'cheap/dollar ' shop..

I have used the Shine Bright paper range from Kaisercraft and gold glitter paper, as well as Kaisercraft Sparklets. I love this photo of my Dd, and yes another one I have copied off facebook!!!

KRAFT + February.. going postal...

Hello there on this Monday, the weather here is glorious, I hope it is great where ever you are too!

I am just putting up my take on the February challenge over at KRAFT + - GOING POSTAL which has been another interesting challenge to complete I must say..
To use kraft as the base and also use postal stamps..  Well I have a huge biscuit barrel full of stamps that I went through and found some stamps that have meaning for my layout. I have used a photo of my youngest daughter and I and I have gone with the theme of "special delivery" as she sure was a special delivery to our family! And the pun I can use is that she came via 'air mail' as we flew overseas to get her!!! so my 'postal' layout..

Of course I had to put on an aussie flag stamp because she came to Australia!

and that cute teddy stamp which symbolizes childhood.. and the air mail logo!

to use red the word lovely and some hearts.. sounds romantic!! or just something special!! and my layout..

ARCHISCRAPS & WHITE WITH ONE FEBRUARY..

And turning over the calendar for a new month we say  hello to February!

I have two design team creations to share as the new challenges go up for the new month!

The first is for ARCHISCRAPS and it is to be inspired by this photo..
and to use clocks whether they be stickers, stamps or rubons..  and I have created a card this month..

I have used some clocks cut out of acetate from Kaisercraft..  You can post your entry on the blog HERE!!

And the new color for WHITE WITH ONE is

chocolate!!
Now i admit this one has been one of the hardest layouts to get done.. and just quietly I am not too happy with it but the weather here has zapped me and I just did not want to try again.. I stuffed up the back ground and then covered it with gesso but still it looked yuk so I ended up covering it up with doileys... The creative team have some wonderful inspiration so please make sure you check them out..

 Those lovely resin feathers were sent to the CT to use on our layouts from THE RESIN RAINBOW which has an etsy shop where you can buy these fabulous embellishments.. Lots of designs to choose from..

Changes from Google

In the past week many bloggers have noticed a decline in their followers. Below is the reason why this is happening.

If you follow my blog through another search engine you will no longer see it in your feeds. If you want to continue to follow my blog then you must have a google account. 

Its unfortunate this is happening as I personally don't like these types of changes but there's not much we can do about it.

From Google: We announced the retirement of Google Friend Connect for all non-Blogger sites. We made an exception for Blogger to give readers an easy way to follow blogs using a variety of accounts. Yet over time, we’ve seen that most people sign into Friend Connect with a Google Account. So, in an effort to streamline, in the next few weeks we’ll be making some changes that will eventually require readers to have a Google Account to sign into Friend Connect and follow blogs.

As part of the plan starting the week of Jan.11th, 2016 we’ll remove the ability for people with Twitter, Yahoo, Orkut or other OpenId providers to sign in to Google Friend Connect and follow blogs. At the same time, we’ll remove non-Google Account profiles so you may see a decrease in your blog follower count.

We encourage you to tell affected readers (perhaps via a blog post), that if they use a non-Google account to follow your blog, they need to sign up for a Google Account, and re-follow your blog. With a Google Account, they’ll get blogs added to their Reading List, making it easier for them to see the latest posts and activity of the blogs they follow.

We know how important followers are to all bloggers, but we believe this change will improve the experience for both you and your readers.
