DEER AND FAWN Nov & SCRAPBOOKING TOP 50 AUST Nov challenges.

A big hello to you!  I hope your day is going well!
Can you believe how fast the days are going by??

I have two challenges to put up, and I think I am a first timer for these two..  I was drawn by the wonderful color inspiration for both of them..

The first one is for DEER AND FAWN DESIGNS and the inspiration picture is this beautiful bird..
Arent the colors simply stunning!! well I tried to use those colors and I have created an art journal page in my kraft journal. I wanted to keep it pretty flat so I have created a page using all fussy cut images from an old calendar..  Some calendars have the most wonderful pictures and I often keep old calendars simply because they are too beautiful to throw away.. So I have cut out images and pasted them on my page.. I did do a bit of mixed media on the back ground which just shows a bit..

I was inspired by the words of one of my favourite old gospel songs..  and I just wanted to do something inspirational in this journal..

And I have created a layout for the challenge over at SCRAPBOOKING TOP 50 AUSTRALIA which is this lovely moodboard..
I have used the colors and also created some pie circles inspired by the unbrellas!!

CHALLENGE YOURSELF / STUCK?! Nov 1st, & SHOW US YOUR STUFF Nov..

A really warm Hello to you today.. the earth is baking outside as we are having a very hot change come by.. So it is stay inside and do something gentle.. so I thought I would put up some layouts for challenges I have done.

I have played along with SCRAP YOUrself #23 which is to use this tic tak toe board..
and I have used the right side up and down which is tags, flowers and doileys.. 
I have also used the lovely sketch by STUCK?! for November 1st which looks like..

This is a photo of us at Christmas a couple of years ago now..  My older kids are so busy I have to try and grab photos of us together when ever I can..

And I have created a layout for Novembers challenge over at SHOW US YOUR STUFF which has a travel theme.. My travel photo is of my Daughter when she had a trip over to Mexico in July this year.. and yes I nicked the photo of facebook!!hehe!

FEELING SKETCHY #133, and SCRAP THE GIRLS Nov..

The latest sketch for FEELING SKETCHY #133 is anther fabulous one which looks like..
and once again I have created 2 cards using the sketch..
and they are both Christmas cards!!

 i have used a FUNKY FLAIRS STUDIO flair on my first card.. I made the flower on the second one and have used a mix of Kaisercraft papers.

And SCRAP THE GIRLS  have a lovely sketch for the November challenge which looks like..

SCRAP AROUND THE WORLD November Challenge..

A big Hello there to you! Thank you for coming by!

I could not resist the gorgeously festive mood board for this months challenge for SCRAP AROUND THE WORLD.. which looks like..
So much of this inspired me while creating my layout.. The title came from the top left photo, the golden sparkle from the tree in the top right photo, the candy canes and the blue color in the bottom middle photo and the heart and red color in the bottom right photo.. and my layout..

Inspired by PINK - KRAFT + November..

A big hello to you! I sure hope your day is going well!!

The challenges over at KRAFT + have certainly been.. well challenging!! But this month has to be one of the most thought provoking so far...  and it is to be inspired by PINK.. no not the color.. the Singer...
Well to be honest I hnow about her, but I dont listen to her music or follow her, so it was ask mr. Google.. humm... after looking at the lyrics to her songs I thought... nope.. nothing there that grabs me.. so ask mr Google again... how about Pink Quotes..  Ahhh... thank you.. that is better..  and I went with this ...
  And I thought of my youngest Daughter who I feel is a fighter and full of passion for life..  Her start to life was not easy, and she inspires me so much..

so... this is what I created...

Love that zipper flower.. it is different and stands out.. like Pink..

lots of bling.. stamping on the back ground..and the paint was from the class I did with Heather McMahon in June. I smeared it on with a spatula..It was a pink color in the tube but looks a bit red on the kraft.

FEELING SKETCHY #132, and the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG Nov..

A warm Hello to you today! Dare I say it, but summer feels just around the corner .. a very warm day here!!

I have been a bit slack with my card making lately so I thought I had better create a few for... you know.... Christmas...  it is coming too fast for me!!!

The latest sketch for FEELING SKETCHY #132 is a fabulous one and I created two cards for this sketch..

They are both Christmas cards..

I have used Kaisercraft papers and various dies..

And the November challenge for the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG was one I really enjoyed creating. And it is...
 To use Navy color, the word Happy and some rolled paper on your layout..

A punch and a punch..  by crikey here we are into November already... Don't ask me how that happened!!

The new challenges are going up around the place so I have 2 that might get your creative juices going!!!
