Hi there,  thanks so much for coming on by! February seems to be going ever so quickly, so I had better put these layouts up before the week is out!!

I have seen this site around but this is my first time joining in with SHOW US YOUR STUFF as the challenge this month was quite interesting.. and it is a countdown challenge.. which is..
and I have used all the criteria except I hope my title is ok, I misinterpreted the 2 different sized alphas as 2 different sized fonts in my title.. I hope that is ok...
My handmade embelly is a gorgeous heart from Charms Creations.. (very cute)
I am a mood scrapper, and I got the mood from these  photos of my neice who is just the sweetest little girl, so my layout is made using soft girly papers and colors..

The February challenge for OFF THE RAILS SCRAPBOOKING was a lovely mood board with colors..

 


 I used 3 of the colors, couldn't quite get the mauve color to work anywhere on my layout, and I took the theme of Paris and used a photo of my daughter up top of the Eiffel Tower when she was over in the UK working for 6 months a few years ago..

and I have created a layout for the DUSTY ATTIC FEBRUARY CHALLENGE and it is to use this mood board..

and my layout using DA chipboard for my title as well as a DA gate on my layout..

Feeling Sketchy #115 & Sassy Scrapper Mood Board Feb.

SCRAP THE GIRLS - FEB

The February challenge for SCRAP THE GIRLS is a fabulous mood board.. There are a lot of challenges these days using these boards and taking the inspiration from them for your layout.. Here is the board..
I have taken the shades of green and created this layout.

Live every moment.

I have used Kaiser papers, stamps, collectables and an overlay..

Annas Craft Cupboard, The Scrapbook Store sketches for February.... and some news....

The very good day to you.. or evening as it is here for me!

Being in a sketchy mood I have created 2 layouts for 2 of my favorite online scrap shops..


The first layout is for ANNAS CRAFT CUPBOARD and the sketch looks like...
I have used some older photos of my nephew who went a bit silly when I was trying to get a good photo... but that was ok as I have used the photos anyway!!!

Dude..

I didn't embellish this layout much as I didn't want to detract from those photos.. what a wag he is!!

And the other layout I did is for THE SCRAPBOOK STORE and their sketch looks like...

Well I just used one photo and did some stenciling for where the tree was..  And my layout using a photo of my DD and our horse Bess... I have lots of photos of these 2 together so there will be more layouts in the future!!!

All you need is love..

This is a much softer layout using flowers I have had for years and mixing in some 3-d flower stickers.. (using old stuff is good.. !!!)

And just before I go I have some fabulous news that I keep pinching myself about!!!
I will be flying the aussie flag over at CARDABILITIES for 3 months from March.. yes I am ecstatic to be creating for these amazing card sketches..  If you had told me I would be on a world wide card challenge site design team 2 years ago I would have just laughed.. but here I am...  I love creating cards now and I look forward to being on the team creating next month...And the best part is to be creating with craft loving sisters from around the world.. that blows my mind... Sketchabilities #132 & Cardabilities #116

I have always admired the sketches over at SKETCHABILITIES and then when White With One joined with them last month for a joined challenge I enjoyed creating with the sketch. So I decided to create with the latest sketch #132 which looks like..
and my layout using a photo I have used once before but a photo I just love of my DD and our horse...

And then I thought I would create a card using the CARDABILITIES SKETCH #116 which looks like..

I have used 3-D stickers for the flowers and a little bit of stamping and some mesh made with a die..

123 Challenge Blog February.

Good day to you! So nice of you to click and come by!

The February challenge for the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG is a bit different in that it is colors I definitely do not use much of.. but hey... that is why it is a challenge right?? The criteria for this month is..
and now you can combine this challenge with one other sketch challenge only.. see RULES HERE.. So that is a good change to the rules I think..

Anyway.. I did find this one a bit harder.. however.. I created this layout with the 3 criteria..

I put glitter on my blue frame around the photo..

I made the blue flower with dies.. painted the chipboard pieces..

My Doggie Duo!!

Paint splatters and a few brads too!! These are my doggies in their christmas photo last year!!! One of them cooperates and smiles for me the other one goes all shy... just like kids!!!

Sketchy Boards & White With One February.

A big Hello to you on this the first day of February! I am not even going to ask where January went!! (but if you know then feel free to tell me!!)

The February Challenge for SKETCHY BOARDS is this one..  A Sketch and a Board for colors, and just create how it inspires you!

And the Challenge for WHITE WITH ONE is this wonderful color...

and the Design Team have created some wonderful inspiration HERE!!
The Design team were given some little pots of TINBY MELTS from the lovely Bec Beattie and we had a play with some melts on our layouts..

I used the melts on my chipboard piece..  You just use some ink or glue and sprinkle on the melt crystals and heat with a heat gun until you get the consistency you are after..a fabulous fun product..
