Kaiser Saturday Challenge #2, Scrap around the World, Once Upon A Sketch

A big Hello to you today! I hope your day is going well!

Goodness where has September gone? I don't know!! I saw Christmas decorations in the shop yesterday, so that is a reminder that this year is quickly drawing to a close...

I have 3 challenges that I have managed to get done before October arrives!

The Saturday Challenge over at KAISER was a sketch that looks like..
and my layout using mainly the Mix and Match collection with  bits from other ranges included..

The September challenge for SCRAP AROUND THE WORLD was a lovely mood board.. which looks like..
Well I was just taken with the fairy image in the top corner, and when I came across this photo of my DD I went with that.. I have kept to the soft colors with a hint of gold that you see on the book covers..

And the September challenge for ONCE UPON A SKETCH is to use the sketch and have hand written journalling..  and the sketch..
and the theme was an open one..

I was lucky to meet a wonderful scrapper who I consider a dear friend in June so I used the photos we took on that day...  Meeting Lizzy!

Stuck?! Sept 15 and Sassy Scrapper September

Good day to you! I hope your day is going extremely well!

I have 2 challenges to pop on here today..

The September sketch for STUCK?! is another really good one and it challenged me to use 3 photos...
and my layout using photos of my DD and our horse Bess who have a great bond..

All you need is love..

And the challenge over at SASSY SCRAPPERS is to use the mood board which looks like..
and I had a photo for this of my DD at sunset at the Sunshine Coast.
 I used the colors in the board for my layout.. and took the feeling of peace from the yacht picture for my layout too..

Feeling Sketchy #102, One LIttle Word and 123 Challenge September

A very Happy Hello to you where ever you are popping in from..

I have a few things to pop up on here today to share with you!

The card sketch over at FEELING SKETCHY was so enjoyable to create with I did 2 cards! And they are both Christmas cards..

And I just may use that sketch again and again so thanks Feeling Sketchy for a wonderful sketch!

I came across this challenge via Lizzy Hills Blog and how she manages to do so many challenges each month is amazing..  and the challenge site is ONE LITTLE WORD and the word to use this time is fear.. That word means different things to different people, but I am sure we have all experienced it in some form in the cause of our lives.. that doctors appointment, that bill that comes unexpectedly and you wonder how you are gunna pay it, age, and the news we hear on tv, just a few things that spring to my mind.. I found this quote that I have used on my art journal pages that is very fitting to remember in life's storms...


Let your faith be bigger than your fear..

And the Mid month reveal for the 123 CHALLENGE BLOG has gone up so I can put my layout up and the criteria this month is..
The color is Khaki, the word is emphasise and the technique is hidden journalling.. and my layout ...

Stuck?! September 1st Sketch

A very good day to you! I hope your day is going well..  Can you believe how fast this month is flying by? Next week is school holidays and I am sure looking forward to it..

I have been a good girl and got all my DT layouts done for October.. yes that is scary, the 10th month of the year... so I thought I would do a little creating for a challenge and loved the sketch for STUCK?! 1st September which looks like..
and I have scrapped a couple of photos taken last year in Spring at a place called Springs Bluff a little railway station on the Toowoomba range.. The azaleas there were massive and these photos show one bush that was absolutely covered in blooms..

Beauty.

 I did a bit of fussy cutting and yes who has switched my brain.. no splatters, no stamping on my back ground..hehe..just crisp white cardstock.. I think my style is changing again!??

Kaiser Saturday challenge, Scrap the Girls and 123 Challenge blog

A very good day to you wherever you are! Another week nearly over... I have a few challenges to share..

The Saturday challenge over at KAISERCRAFT  is to create something different.. humm I have my sisters birthday today so I thought I would just cover a plain little note book for her.. She loves green, so I gathered my green papers from Kaiser and some stamps and gesso and some dies and created this..

Sketchy Boards September and a new CT!!

A big Hello to you! Yes I am still here,  just crazy busy!!!

The challenge for SKETCHY BOARDS is to use the sketch and the picture for color inspiration and it looks like this..

Well those colors made me think of Christmas so I used some photos taken a few Christmas's ago! and my layout..

I have stuck pretty closely to the sketch.. There are prizes for this challenge and I know it is over on facebook.. but I have heard a few whispers that there may just be a blog getting created.. so I think that will be good...

and

I have joined the creative team over at WHITE WITH ONE!!! When you love a challenge so much it is such a wonderful surprise to be accepted onto the creative team.. sooo I shall be creating for them from next month on..  and the other team members are ..FOUND HERE!

September Creative Team Layouts - Page Drafts and a new team!

A very good day to you, today marks the first day of Spring for us and let me say the day outside is sensational.. A bit of rain last week has brought a tinge of green and the flowers are emerging to delight the bees..

and of course.. new month.. new challenges...

The sketches this month over at PAGE DRAFTS are absolutely amazing.. I dont know how Em keeps coming up with such wonderful sketches but I really loved creating a layout for the sketch I chose, even though it got my thinking cap on as to how I could use a photo that stretched right across my page..

All the flowers are from the D-LISH STORE and let me tell you for a flower lover like me, it is a paradise of blooms!  The spotty pink doileys and  the pink spotty buttons are also from D-LISH STORE.

I hope this inspires you to create.. The sketch is optional (but I reckon why not use it as it is so lovely anyway) and all the colors of the mood board should be used as well..
